The VUCA Resilience Self-Directed Coaching program is built on a proprietary secure online platform where Self-Leaders go every day to answer for themselves the same set of simple questions about what has caught their attention and stood out the most in their mind that day.

The objective is to every day quickly jot down the answers that first come to mind to the same set of 16 questions, to be reviewed at a later date by themselves and with me, their coach. Answering the same set of specific carefully-crafted questions every day is what makes it work. This highly structured form of micro-journaling opens the door to the inner knowing that reconnects you to True Purpose and enhanced personal fulfillment and satisfaction.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens during the 8-week VUCA Resilience Self-Directed Coaching program?
Every day, for 56 days, you take 10 minutes to answer the same set of 16 questions via a secure online form.

After two weeks of daily reporting, you begin to start looking back at what you have written.

During the weekly one-to-one private coaching sessions with me, patterns are identified emerging from what you have written, and course correction to action plans made.

You will likely be pleasantly surprised by what becomes revealed, and what you get to uncover.

It sounds too simple to be effective. But have you ever done it?

2. How much time does it take?
For eight weeks, you've got to be able to commit to 10 minutes every day to complete your answers in the online form, and another 90 minutes once a week for the weekly coaching support calls.

At the beginning, it may take you a little longer than 10 minutes for the first few days until you become familiar with the questions, but after a short while you will get much faster at it.

The intention is to quickly jot down what comes first to your mind. Point form is just fine as the only people reading what you write are you and me. You just want to make sure that what you write will make sense to you when you read it in the future.

You can take breaks of up to two days from the daily reporting, as long as you keep up a sequence of reporting five days out of every seven.

3. How is this different than journaling?
Those who have tried journaling often report not getting enough return from the investment of their time.

Stream of consciousness writing can be insightful, but the problem with much conventional journaling is it is either aimless, or alternatively is focused on known realities and known goal achievement. Neither of which support you re-inventing yourself by going where you've never gone before.

Self-Leaders know before deciding on goals they must first decide their motives for having them, and that is shaped entirely by what is getting their attention. What you train your attention on becomes the only thing you can ever think about. Because what you think about is what you bring about, as what gets your attention gets bigger and shows up more in your life.

The VUCA Resilience daily writing habit reveals to you what you want to have, or do not yet know you want to have be demanding your attention...and why.

4. Why does it work?
Writing down what's on your mind is the most overlooked of personal skills to develop. Writing clarifies your thinking and catapults your impact. To get your ideas into the minds of others they first have to written down to be figured out, organized, and prioritized. But more than ideas, this daily writing practice teaches you more about the person doing the writing – YOU. You get to discover being reconnected with what matters most to you.

The real power of this 10-minute daily writing habit comes not so much from what you write every day, but the unexpected insight gained when you look back at what you have written. It’s always surprising to be reminded of something you were really excited about two weeks that you have completely forgotten about, and that you now unexpectedly see being connected in previously unimaginable ways to what you were thinking about today.

The VUCA Resilience writing environment is a very specific kind of structured micro-journaling, the results from which can only be discovered and known by actually doing it. Every day.

By writing to an audience of just yourself, you get to find out more what you are really thinking. And you get to confirm if what you thought used to be important is still where you want to be headed.

5. What kind of results can I expect?

"The book that will most change your life is the one YOU write.”

                 — Seth Godin

The purpose of the VUCA Resilience Coaching program is not to have you write a book or to help you develop your writing skill (although the daily practice can certainly contribute to both). This coaching is a LEARNING BY DOING program not intended to deliver predetermined outcomes known in advance.

It's instead designed to support Self-Leaders' personal journeys of discovery.

Unlike other training programs, you won't get to know the results you get until you get them. The VUCA Resilience Self-Directed practice is a on-going learning exercise in SELF-discovery.

You do the work, and then you get to discover what there is to learn from it. You not only get confirmation of what you already know to be true for you, but in addition what you don't yet know to be true for you also begins to become revealed. You will discover things you have to offer you didn't even know you had, and that are only there for you to discover. Until then remaining invisible to you and those you work with.

Some of the results participants have reported:

  1. Finding clarity in the fog, and discovering something new beyond what you thought mattered most
  2. Identifying the internal source of courage to be the ideals you stand for
  3. Discovering your own unique point of view (unlike anyone else’s)
  4. Being emboldened to step forward and share with the world what you think is most important
  5. Being better able to successfully navigate when you take yourself to places where there are no maps
  6. Discovering more of what you don't know you didn't know you wanted to invite into your life
  7. Uncovering the most rewarding thing on which you want to focus your time
  8. Stepping outside herd mentality to be able to ask better questions
  9. Unleashing the originality of your thinking and the courage to express it

As your daily reporting guides you forward, you discover more new relevance coming to your attention, and more new more relevant things for you to consider to be choosing from. What is most important, just for you, emerges like a brilliant beacon shining amidst all the noise of overwhelm and information overload.

6. How much does it cost?
The 8-week program, including 8 weekly 1-to-1 private coaching sessions, costs $5k.

Also included at no-cost is a subscription to the "Self-Agility Daily Headstart" email course, that kickstarts your Self-Agility thinking for the day.

7. Is there a guarantee?
Like climbing Mount Everest, partial commitment to this personal discovery adventure does not work, and there is no point in beginning this program without the intention to complete it.

The VUCA Resilience program daily practice only works when done everyday, and is only for those committed to performing the daily 10-minute writing exercise, and attending the weekly 1-to-1 private coaching sessions, for the full eight weeks. No refunds are offered.

However, should you find other priorities are interfering with your ability to report every day, we can pause the program for a later time period more suitable to you.
